poised

This was my first purchase from Poised, as the price here was cheaper than any other website (including the likes of Amazon and eBay). It arrived within two days, in very good packaging, including two test samples for some other brands, which I thought was a nice touch. The item itself feels quite heavy and expensive, which is great. I use it as a pre-shave cream; my ritual involves using this before my shaving foam, and then using my Gillette as normal. It smells minty, and when you put it on, you just feel your face get fresher and waking up - no joke. It adds 'glide' to your shave like never before, and with every stroke of your blade, the freshness/mintiness is amplified. I don't put any on following the shave, but my face remains fresh and minty for about half an hour after, at which point the aftershave goes on. You only need to use a small dab, as it seems to last forever - been using this every two days since January, and I still have just under half of the tub left (it's March). Highly recommended. I've noticed that my face feels more awake, and that shaving is less of a chore. The girlfriend also swears by this product as a moisturiser before sleeping - so make of that what you will!
